Dominican Republic - Part 2

Happy Hump Day!

Today I'm sharing the rest of the pics I shared on my Instagram of my trip to the Dominican Republic. We mostly stayed on the resort's property but did leave one day to explore Saona Island. I'm so glad we did because I have never experienced such beautiful waters, they were literally 50 shades of blue!

Hope you enjoy this little glimpse into life on the island!

Walking the CLEAN beach at Saona Island. Seriously, being in the DR makes me never want to get into the water in LA. There's just no comparison!

Look at this water! So beautiful!

Everywhere I turned was a photo opportunity.

After an hour long catamaran ride through the Caribbean (on our way to the Island) we stopped at a natural pool! The water was waist-deep and we even got to see a few starfish! We couldn't hold them for long because they had to be in the water but I'm glad I got a few shots with them :)

After visiting the island, we enjoyed lots of pool time. Here I wore this cute flamingo tee from Sasea Decor paired with old bottoms from Target. Perfect combo to layout by the pool.

Wearing head to to Lilly for Target (shorts, top, and sandals). It was an all pineapple everything kind of day ;)

I took advantage of any opportunity to dress up! I tried doing my hair as well but the weather was so humid by the time I stepped out of my room my curls were gone! It was like magic! lol This little white dress is one of my current favorites, I found it at Old Navy on sale for under $15, it's so feminine and lightweight...perfect for warm summer days!

Felt like a stylish senorita this day. This off the shoulder dress has been in my closet for months waiting for the opportunity to make its debut. What better time than on my tropical vacation!
